Chovaterm is an isolation and is a waterproofing formed by:

Thermal insulation: extruded polystyrene, XPS (300), or rock wool, 150 kg / m3, being the usual types of thermal insulation in covers. Products with CE marking and with AENOR brand.

Politaber waterproofing sheets, standardized LBM types according to UNE-EN 13707 standard, are also sheets with CE marking and with AENOR brand.

The diversity of the Chovaterm range allows to perform, in covers, waterproofing or monolayer, light protection or heavy protection. In this way, the majority of membranes supported in regulations is allowed. (Basic edification standard. Expected systems or standards UNE, 104-402: 96).

The application of Chovaterm systems is always by mechanical fixation to the support. The type of fixation will depend on the type of support of the waterproofing. On supports not sufficiently consistent, other alternatives of application can be set or should be studied.

It is applied on covers with supports: concrete, mortar, metallic sheet cover (deck), wavy fiber cement plates, wood, etc.

The application of Chovaterm products has specific characteristics, use of fixings, etc., which facilitates implementing operations, although the normal care of work execution should be taken into account.
